Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in Downey, CA, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to maintain and repair tractor/trailer equipment at our Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling shop. You will service light duty vans and MHE, with a 3:00pm-11:30pm shift and a pay rate of $40.49/hr.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventative maintenance, and documentation in AssetWorks, while following DOT/OSHA safety standards and ensuring accurate records and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable DOT-related MVR.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally over 100 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Document repairs and maintenance in AssetWorks with accuracy.
• Learn and assist diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems using tools and manuals.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes Fleet Management safety standards and PPE rules.
• Operate Reyes vehicles as required and maintain CDL-related records.
