Job summary

Reyes Holdings seeks a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A for its Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling shop in Downey. You will service tractors, trailers, refrigeration units and light duty vans, using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience, tool ownership, and a valid CDL is highly desired. Shift is full-time evenings with union benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
Must possess own tools for fleet maintenance and repair.
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record as per DOT.
CDL A preferred or required in some locations.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment including tractors, trailers and related parts.
Document work orders for repairs and preventive maintenance in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
Diagnose mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic tech and software.
Perform detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes Fleet Management safety standards and procedures.
Possibly operate Reyes vehicles; DOT qualification file must be maintained.
Occasional travel; other duties as assigned.
