Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• 1+ year experience or trade school in diesel/heavy equipment.
• Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must own tools.
• Knowledge of heavy truck repairs and diesel engine diagnostics.
• Ability to work with changing technology and updates.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks and forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and service equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and prepare FMCSA compliant documents.
• Interpret work orders and manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts and systems.
• Test equipment to ensure performance meets specs.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
