Job summary

Sysco Baraboo seeks a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable trucks through preventive maintenance and expert repairs. You will diagnose issues, perform inspections, and repair complex systems to minimize downtime and extend fleet life.

Ideal candidates have heavy-duty training, a valid license, and experience with OEM diagnostic tools, electrical systems, and welding. This role offers a stable career with relocation support and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications (preferred, not required).
• 609 HVAC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Follow procedures and document all work orders.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and use diagnostic software.
• Proficient in electrical meter testing and welding as needed.
• Ensure safety and reliability across the fleet.
