Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc seeks a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, annual inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize reliability, following manufacturer specs.

Applicants should have heavy-duty truck training, a valid driver’s license, and ASE/inspection certifications preferred. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are offered, with a Sunday–Thursday evening shift in a dynamic supply

Qualifications

• Medium / Heavy Duty truck technical training is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years in fleet maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform annual FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Perform maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability of fleet equipment.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely and efficiently.
• Follow procedures and document all work performed on work orders.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and diagnostics tools.
