Job summary

Sysco Allentown is seeking a Diesel Fleet Mechanic Technician II to maintain and repair its fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance and professional diagnostics to minimize downtime and ensure safety. The role requires strong tool skills and the ability to work with electrical and mechanical systems.

Expect working on tractors, trailers, and related equipment with a focus on reliability. A valid license and trade training are required, with ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medium/Heavy vehicle technician training required.
• 2 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work on work orders and maintain service records.
• Operate diagnostic software and electrical testing tools as needed.
