Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute seeks a qualified fleet technician to perform preventive maintenance and expert repairs on a diverse fleet. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and document work orders, ensuring safety and reliability while meeting regulations.

The role includes a four-10 shift schedule (Mon-Thu 4:00 PM–2:30 AM) with a $1/hour differential, a $300 tool allowance twice a year, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Technical training in heavy vehicle maintenance or a related field.
• Must have relevant ASE or inspector certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Conduct annual and state-required inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical, and brake systems.
• Document work orders and updates in company systems.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs per manufacturer specs.
