Job summary

The FHLB Des Moines is seeking a Diesel Fleet Mechanic Technician II to provide safe and reliable vehicles for our operations. This role involves performing preventive maintenance inspections, executing repairs, and ensuring fleet reliability.

Qualified candidates should have completed Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training, possess a valid driver's license, and experience in fleet maintenance. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $22.93 to $28.65 per hour plus outstanding benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance.
• Current and valid driver's license is required.
• Annual Inspector Certification, Brake Inspector Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems including engines and electrical.
• Document all work performed on work orders.
