Smyrna Ready Mix, LLC is hiring a Fleet Mechanic in Johns Island, SC, to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy equipment including mixer trucks and dump trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply with on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Rebuild or repair major components such as engine heads and transmissions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies in the workshop and on job sites.
