Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components of fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, manuals, and hands-on inspection to identify root causes of failures.
• Repair or replace defective parts including engine components, fuel systems, electrical wiring, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
• Collaborate with fleet management to prioritize repairs and schedule maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Keep up to date with the latest diesel technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
