Job summary

Beverage Distribution Center, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic responsible for mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on our fleet vehicles.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs across gasoline, diesel, propane, and electric vehicles, and perform routine maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment. The role requires driving duties as needed, shifts including weekends/holidays, and the ability to work with a range of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Five years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment.
• Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime.
• Must have accompanies credentials and certifications as required.
• Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, dust mask, earplugs, gloves, hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, work boots, and safety vest.
• Hand tools including, but not limited to, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrenches and other various tools.
• Vehicles including, but not limited to, automotive, diesel, forklift, and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Gasoline, diesel and propane and electrical vehicles experience necessary.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic understanding of internal combustible engines, hydraulic and air brake systems, welding and electrical experience.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Safety is an integral part of each job.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
