Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an On-Site Diesel Equipment Service Mechanic to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain critical diesel systems at customer sites in San Antonio, TX and surrounding areas. The role requires inspecting engines, fuel systems, transmissions, and electrical subsystems, documenting work, and communicating findings to customers.

A valid driver’s license and diesel tech experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; formal diesel mechanic training/certification preferred.
• Proven background as a diesel technician or mechanic.
• Strong technical grasp of diesel engines, components, and supporting systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Excellent communication and a service-oriented approach.
• Current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end diagnostics on diesel engines and related equipment to pinpoint root causes.
• Complete routine services and complex repairs on a range of diesel-powered vehicles.
• Inspect, service, and replace key components: fuel system parts, transmissions, and electrical subsystems.
• Create detailed service documentation for all maintenance and repair activities.
• Deliver clear, courteous updates to customers regarding findings and next steps.
• Continuously expand knowledge of modern diesel technologies and industry best practices.
• Operate safely on customer sites and adhere to all relevant safety standards.
