Qualifications
- Experience as a diesel, heavy equipment, fleet, or oilfield mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and brake systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and sound troubleshooting practices.
- Complete inspections and identify additional maintenance needs.
- Support field service calls when needed.
- Keep accurate repair records and communicate findings with supervisors and customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
