DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Ann Arbor, MI. The role covers maintenance on diesel equipment, 2-cycle engines, Class A trucks, loaders and trailers, with 2nd or 3rd shift options.

You will troubleshoot, repair front-end suspensions, tires, brakes and perform preventative maintenance as well as DOT compliance, while using a mobile app to track repairs and parts. The team values training, collaboration, and promotion from within.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair front end suspension, replace tires and brakes, perform preventative maintenance and DOTs as needed.
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspect equipment for repair needs.
• Support operations through field repairs, communication, and operator education when possible.
• Winter rotating shift to support overnight snow operations.
• Keep track of repairs, time and parts on company app.
• Organize stock-parts, tools and shop areas.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities
