Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a Fleet Mechanic for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) to service a diverse fleet from 2-cycle engines to Class A trucks, loaders and trailers. You’ll diagnose and repair diesel equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support operations across site and field duties.

The role offers a pay range of $22-$32 per hour with a $1,000 bonus after 1,000 hours, plus benefits including 401(k) with match, disability coverage, EAP, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair to front end suspension, change tires and brakes, perform preventative maintenance and DOTs within skill set.
• Complete preventative maintenance, diesel and inspect equipment for repair needs.
• Support operations through repairs in the field and educate operators when possible.
• Winter rotating shift for overnight snow operations.
• Keep track of repairs, time and parts on the mobile app.
• Organize stock parts, tools and shop areas.
• Self-starter, able to prioritize, solve problems and work without direct supervision.
• Chauffer's Driver's License and clean driving record; Chauffer designation assistance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain diesel equipment and fleet components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on a range of equipment.
• Assist operations by repairing equipment in the field and training operators.
• During winter, participate in rotating shifts to support overnight snow operations.
• Record repairs, time and parts on the company mobile app.
