Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems. You will maintain HVAC, suspension, drivetrains, and brakes while performing on-site and road service as required.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of technician experience or related automotive training, a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for a stable, full-time on-site role with opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with technical proficiency.
• Understand work order labor time standards.
• Experience with gasoline and diesel-powered equipment diagnosis and repair or recent automotive school graduation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on chassis components and refuse bodies.
• Repair light engine and drive train components.
• Service suspensions, steering, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Provide safe road service to return equipment to operation.
