Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment across a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC systems. Candidates with 3–5 years’ mechanic experience and diesel/heavy equipment expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• May need to provide mechanic’s tools; strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
