Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment. You will work on aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and related gear, with an emphasis on safety and uptime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience; trade training is preferred. Expect a dynamic team, on-site work, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment.
• Prior experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Trade school or equivalent training preferred.
• Must be able to provide basic mechanic tools if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
• Repair and service a variety of makes, models and equipment.
• Work safely to minimize downtime and keep job sites productive.
• Flexibly prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
