GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a skilled Diesel/CNG Fleet Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks within a busy maintenance shop. You will work under supervision to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across all fleet vehicles.

The role requires 3+ years of diesel/CNG experience, familiarity with DOT/OSHA regulations, and readiness to obtain a CDL if not already held. ASE certifications are a plus, and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.
• CDL (Class A or B) preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations and safe working practices.
• Ability to read procedures and communicate effectively with team and customers.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, repair and maintain GFL’s Diesel and CNG fleet under supervision.
• Inspect brake systems, engine components, emission systems, steering, wheel bearings for proper operation.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and repair hydraulic systems."
• Conduct DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
• Complete reports and work orders and assist with parts ordering.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety regulations.
