Job summary

F & P America Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to create and repair tooling using various equipment, ensuring all quality and production standards are met. Responsibilities include supporting stamping operations and troubleshooting production problems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with stamping operations, proficient in reading blueprints, and ability to adhere to safety requirements. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Job description

Be able to use appropriate equipment to create and repair tooling. These duties are to be performed within quality and production standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Use of various equipment/tools to create and repair tooling, including, but not limited to, grinders, EDM, CNC, welding equipment, machining equipment, overhead cranes, etc.
• Support stamping operations and troubleshoot production problems.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with various stamping operations preferred (e.g., transfer, progressive, blanking)
• Proficient reading blueprints and sketches.
• Follow all safety requirements of the company – PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc.
• Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work any shift
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Regularly exposed to dust, grease/oil, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
