KeyResponsibilities:

• MustworkwithproductionTeaminallaspectsofproductiontoensureparts produced adhere to IFAB Corp & Customer standards and dimension tolerances.
• Responsibleforrepairingstamptooling.
• FillingoutandfilingPreventativeMaintenanceSheets.
• Changeovertoolingandremovepunchesforsharpeningandreplacement.
• Troubleshootingtoolingandadjustachieveagoodpart.
• Be present at new tooling try outs or engineering changes to ensure safety foroperators and equipment.
• Recommendiftoolingwillneedtobesentoutforrepair.
• Keepingtheworkareacleanandmachineswipeddown.
• Notifysupervisorofanyproblems.
• Maintainsspareandchangeovertoolingsoitcanbelocatedwhenneeded.
• Musthavethehandtoolsrequiredtorepairtooling.

PreferredQualifications:

CandidatemusthavesomeorallofthefollowingEducational/Technicalrequirements:

• Highschooldiplomaorequivalent;technicalorvocationaltraininginCNC operation is highly preferred.
• Previoustoolanddieexperiencetwoyears.
• Knowledgeofstampingtools,bothprogressiveandtransfer,aswellasbasicpress and feeder knowledgerequired.
• Knowledgeofpresssafetyandfeedspeedoftoolroomequipmentrequired.
• Musthavegoodmachiningskillsincludingsetupandbeabletomachineacomponentto set dimensions.
• Journeymancardorapprenticeshipcertificatepreferred.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenanceinstructionsandproceduremanuals.Abilitytocommunicate efficiently in both written and oral form.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• While performing the duties of thisjobthe employeeis regularly required tostand,walk,sit,stoop,squatandreach,grasp,pushandpullusingarmsandlegs.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds,frequentlylift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
