Job summary

Kawasaki is seeking a maintenance professional to inspect, test, and repair dies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling across three shifts in Maryville, MO. The role emphasizes adherence to QMS/EMS, KPS, and OSHA standards while ensuring dies meet specifications.

The successful candidate will perform repairs, contribute to process improvements, and may train teammates. A high school diploma or GED with welding certification and 6 months welding experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies and procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS) and OSHA regulations.
• Repair, maintain and modify jigs, fixtures and dies to support proper function and quality of the die process.
• Prepare die for repair by cleaning and moving to repair area.
• Suggest improvements to die process or equipment and collaborate with others to support implementation.
• Perform tests or inspections to determine maintenance needs.
• May train team members.
• Communicate with all shifts and share work and other issues.

Inspect, test, and maintain, new and reworked tools, dies, gauges, jigs and fixtures to ensure proper operation and conformance to specifications.

Position Requirements

This position is available on any of our three shifts (7am-3:30pm), (3pm-11:30pm), (11pm-7:30am). The selected candidate will have the opportunity to discuss their preferred shift schedule at the time of offer.

Education/Education

High School Diploma or GED and welding certification with 6 months welding experience required.

Current Employees must meet the following:

• Meet minimum qualifications stated on job description.
• In current position and shift for 90 days.
• Less than 3 instances for attendance.
• No performance issues or written warnings for disciplinary actions within past 6 months.
