Job summary

Job Impulse, Inc. is hiring a Die Cast Setter in Athens, Alabama for aluminum high-pressure die casting and semi-permanent mold processes. The position offers a $18.30/hour pay and a 90-day contract-to-hire track, with a Monday–Friday 2:30p.m.–10:30p.m. schedule and Sunday-Thursday 10:30p.m.–6:30a.m.

shift flexibility. Responsibilities include machine output control, quality checks, and preventive maintenance. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control output of machines to produce quality parts within specifications.
• Perform quality checks on the finished product to verify conformance to specifications and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Perform setups, changeovers and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Unload and load material.
• Identify damages.
• Report shortages.
• Report quality deficiencies.
