Job summary

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is seeking Die Cast Set-Up Operators to join our team across three shifts at our Elgin, IL facility. You will set dies, adjust machine parameters, and follow detailed setup charts to ensure efficient operation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some die casting experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform basic maintenance as needed. This is a full‑time, on‑site role offering competitive shift pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating die casting equipment.
• Ability to read and follow setup drawings and charts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Set die into machine and adjust program settings as needed.
• Follow established set‑up chart instructions.
• Write new set‑up instructions for new tools.
• Troubleshoot machine/set‑up parameters based on defects.
• Ensure the die is running properly; gather firstoff pieces for inspection.
