Job summary

Nebraska Aluminum Castings is looking for a Die-Cast set up Trainee for the first shift in Hastings, Nebraska. In this role, you will assist in operating die-casting machines to produce aluminum parts while ensuring quality standards are met.

No previous experience is required, and training will be provided by experienced technicians. The position also offers a $500 signing bonus after 6 months of employment.

Job description

Die-Cast set up Trainee for the first shift.

Shift:

• Mon.- Thurs., 3:15pm to 1:45am.
• Overtime if needed is worked on Friday- 12:45pm to 8:45pm.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Assist in the set-up and operation of the die-casting machine to form a variety of production aluminum parts.
• Individuals must have forklift experience and be able to work in a hot work environment.
• Ensuring that the parts produced meet our quality standards and conform to print specifications, tending to our metal melting furnaces, transferring molten aluminum, and assisting in adhering to the current housekeeping/cleaning schedule.
• No previous experience or post-secondary education is required.
• Employees will be trained on how to complete job tasks such as properly operating all equipment necessary for the job by our experienced technicians.

This position includes a signing bonus of $500 receivable in full at the completion of 6 months of employment!
