Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking an experienced manufacturing associate in Saxonburg, PA to support production processing and equipment maintenance. You will work on a steady three‑shift operation with 40 hours per week, plus potential overtime and weekends as needed.

On‑the‑job training is provided. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing experience, with a hands‑on mindset and strong attention to detail. ISO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production plan per work order due dates to optimize schedules, deliveries, yields and intra-department communications.
• Maintain manufacturing processes per procedures by observation and routine audits.
• Communicate Diamond Fab production process/yield problems to Manager, supervisors and/or process engineers on a timely basis.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing issues as they occur.
• Attends daily production shift change meeting, communicating priorities and issues to manufacturing team.
• Plans activities and schedules to relay any issues that could occur and cause delays.
• Understands all diamond processing activities and provides feedback on areas of concern.
• Provides feedback to process engineering and maintenance that relates to yields or concerns that affect deterministic manufacturing.
