Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing or skilled trades experience helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and finish graphite growth materials for installation into CVD furnaces.
• Load and unload zinc casting furnace materials for CVD use.
• Support disassembly/assembly of CVD growth furnaces for production prep.
• Clean and organize production areas after assembly and furnace closure.
• Follow procedures to minimize exposure to toxic materials.
• Participate in PSM compliance and EPA RMP; follow DEP hazardous waste rules.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the CVD department.
• Serve on Coherent Saxonburg Site Emergency Response Team with required training.
