Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Auburn, ME seeks a Training and Education Specialist to design, deliver and evaluate competency-based programs for staff across facilities in the region. You will lead new employee orientation, preceptor training, and in-service education to support high-quality patient care.

Travel between sites is required up to 35-90%. You will collaborate with clinical leadership and government agencies, maintain KPI data, and foster lifelong learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Current RN licensure and ability to obtain licensure in assigned states.
• Minimum 1 year dialysis experience as an RN.
• CPR/BLS certification and ongoing education/training.

Responsibilities

• Align with regional, group, and corporate goals through training activities.
• Deliver competency-based training and new employee orientation.
• Promote patient safety and clinical quality improvements in programs.
• Collaborate with partners to schedule and implement education programs.
• Maintain documentation, KPI data, and ongoing quality improvement processes.
