Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States requires an Education/Training Specialist to lead standardized, competency-based programs for facility staff. The role includes orientation, preceptor training, in-services, and clinical training to promote high-quality patient care across dialysis modalities.

You will collaborate with operating and clinical leaders, develop staff competency, and promote lifelong learning through coaching and technology.

Qualifications

• RN license in primary state of residence
• Dialysis experience (1+ year)
• Current CPR/BLS certification including ongoing education

Responsibilities

• Aligns with regional, group, and corporate goals in all activities and actions.
• Adheres to nursing standards, policy, procedures, compliance, regulatory and ethical requirements.
• Focuses programs on patient safety, clinical quality goals, and improving patient outcomes.
• Develops competency to educate personnel in all chronic kidney disease treatment programs.
• Empowers lifelong learning through professional programs, coaching, and available technologies.
• Collaborates with partners to schedule, provide, and implement education programs and processes.
• Uses varied educational venues and learning techniques to deliver, support, and evaluate training.
• Maintains open communication with internal and external customers including management, facility teams, physicians, hospitals, and travel staff.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, and quality improvement skills.
• Supports KPI programs with data documentation and ongoing quality improvement processes.
