Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Mobile, AL seeks an Educational Specialist (RN) to coordinate and deliver competency-based training for staff across facilities. You will develop programs for new hires, preceptors, and clinical teams to promote high-quality patient care and safety.

Travel up to 80% within the region to partner with facility teams, physicians, and management, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Current RN licensure in primary state of residence.
• Dialysis experience preferred; minimum 1 year as a RN.
• BSN/MSN preferred; CDN/CNN preferred or must attain within 18 months.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Focuses programs on patient safety and clinical quality goals to improve outcomes.
• Develops competency to educate personnel in all chronic kidney disease treatment programs.
• Promotes lifelong learning through professional programs, coaching, and available technologies.
• Collaborates with partners to schedule, provide, and implement education programs and processes.
• Uses varied educational venues and learning techniques to deliver training.
• Assists in implementing action plans through to resolution.
• Utilizes facilitation tools to promote immersive learning experiences.
• Maintains open communication with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, and quality improvement skills.
• Supports KPI programs with data documentation and reporting.
