Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Nurse Educator to support the training and education of staff across assigned facilities. The role focuses on competency-based programs, new employee orientation, preceptor training, and dialysis-specific education to promote high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include aligning with regional goals, promoting patient safety, and collaborating with facility staff, physicians, and travel personnel. Frequent travel to regional and care facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Current RN state licensure in primary state of residence.
• Must meet practice requirements in state of employment.
• Minimum 1-year dialysis experience as a RN or CDN/CNN preferred or must attain within 18 months.
• CPR/BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Adheres to nursing standards, policies, procedures, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Develops competency and skills to educate personnel in dialysis treatment programs.
• Promotes lifelong learning through professional programs, coaching, and available technologies.
• Collaborates with partners to schedule, provide, and implement education programs and processes.
• Uses diverse educational venues and learning techniques to deliver training.
• Maintains open communication with internal and external customers.
• Supports metric/KPI programs with data documentation and ongoing quality improvement.
