Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care’s Outpatient RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering clinically competent care to an assigned patient group in the dialysis setting, under supervision.

You will participate in education, collaborate with the care team, administer medications per protocols, and contribute to quality improvement activities and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients.
• Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data during the dialysis process and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs and ensure understanding of care plans.
• Direct and coordinate safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.

Education
