Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing.
• CPR/BLS certification current or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data before, during and after hemodialysis and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
• Document in the patient medical record and notify supervisors or physicians as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families about care, dialysis options, and treatment plans.
• Provide safe, effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy with direct and ancillary staff.
• Administer medications per protocol and manage emergencies as required.
• Support staff training and ensure laboratory procedures are followed.

Hemodialysis experience (preferred)

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
