Job summary

Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hemodialysis Unit seeks a dedicated registered nurse to deliver dialysis treatments in a 10-bay unit and at bedside in select units. You will join an experienced team focused on patient-family centered care and nursing process-driven care.

The RN provides comprehensive care under the Nurse Leader, with education planning, assessment, and discharge planning, and participates in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year experience.
• MI RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC/Canadian Heart and Stroke required at hire.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred; ICU/progressive care experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care.
• Collaborate with patient/family to set goals and education plans.
• Document education and learning in the health record.

Education

Associates or Diploma in Nursing

Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years

MI Registered Nurse (RN) within 60 days

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

NCLEX licensure requirement
