Corewell Health seeks a registered nurse for the 8N Med/Surg unit with a renal focus at Dearborn Hospital. The RN will collaborate with nephrology, social work, and dietitian teams to deliver patient-centered care and discharge planning using the nursing process.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, maintaining accurate education documentation, and adhering to hospital policies under the Nurse Leader. Day shift, full-time position based in Dearborn.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• BSN required within 5 years.
• Non-accredited school graduates must have NCLEX and appropriate acute care/licensed healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, social workers, case managers, and dieticians to develop care plans and education strategies.
• Document education in the health record and adhere to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
• Work under the direction of the Nurse Leader to optimize patient outcomes.
