Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Park Ridge Dialysis unit. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule, day or evening shifts (5:30am–10pm) and two Saturdays per month.

You will perform patient assessments, develop and adjust care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate dialysis care.

Qualifications

• RN license in New York State is required.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient.
• Develops and documents plan of care and coordinates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educates patient and family and documents education plans using teach-back.
• Maintains a professional nurse-patient relationship and follows safety protocols.
• Delegates appropriate responsibilities to team members and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
