Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Chelmsford, MA is seeking an entry-level Professional Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. The role focuses on assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.

The position requires 9 months RN experience, 3 months dialysis experience (preferred), a valid RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and completion of CAP requirements to advance. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate patient care for an assigned group of patients.
• Perform and document assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation during and after hemodialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved protocols.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatment options.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery.
