Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will participate in patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients, coordinating with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.

You will work under supervision, collect and analyze dialysis patient data, and contribute to education for patients and families while advancing through CAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active state license.
• CPR/BLS certification or equivalent current certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties under supervision with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor, or RN team.
• Collects and analyzes patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis; adjusts plans as needed.
• Educates patients and families on care plans and learning needs.
• Directs safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administers medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms; documents outcomes.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
