Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States seeks an entry‑level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. The role focuses on assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and technicians to deliver safe hemodialysis and participate in teaching, quality improvement, and program progression as you complete CAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform care under supervision with guidance from Educator, Preceptor or RN colleagues.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in medical record.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs and care plans.
• Direct and provide safe dialysis therapy in collaboration with staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency response measures and staff training.
