Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 designation. You will provide and coordinate nephrology care, assess patients, plan interventions, perform dialysis duties, and educate patients and families as part of the ESKD care team.

Responsibilities include data collection around dialysis, collaboration with physicians, and supervision of support staff as needed. The role emphasizes safety, lab coordination, and readiness for CAP advancement.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state in which employed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff (RNs, LVN/LPNs, Patient Care Technicians).
• Perform ongoing data collection and analysis of patient data pre–during–post hemodialysis and adjust treatment plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs and treatment options.
• Direct and provide safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with team collaboration.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
• Ensure correct lab collection, processing and shipping; reschedule missed collections.
