Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 track as part of the Clinical Advancement Program. You will participate in the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, conduct assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations for an assigned patient group in an outpatient dialysis setting.

The role involves teaching, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, administering medications, and adhering to policy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state nursing license.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data during dialysis and document in medical records.
• Educate patients and family about learning needs and treatment plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document justification and effectiveness.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
