Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 track. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.

You will document data, educate patients and families, and support the dialysis team with safe, effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy. CAP requirements must be completed to advance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform essential nursing duties and coordinate care.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and update the care plan.
• Educate patients and families on care and treatment.
• Provide safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
• Train and orient new staff as assigned.
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing, and reporting.

Skills

Nephrology nursing

Hemodialysis experience (preferred)

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state licensure
