Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse (RN CAP 1) for outpatient dialysis within the Clinical Advancement Program. The role involves coordinating care, assessing patients, and contributing to quality improvements as part of the ESKD care team.

Responsibilities include data collection during hemodialysis, education, safe delivery of therapy, medication administration, and supporting emergency responses and staff training. State RN licensure and BLS CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or in collaboration with other Registered Nurses.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis, documents in the medical record, adjusts the treatment plan as needed and communicates with the care team.
• Provides patient and family education on treatment plans and options; delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents justification and effectiveness.
• Participates in emergency response measures and supports staff training and orientation.
