Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care outpatient unit is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1). The role involves assessing and coordinating care for an assigned patient group, with potential delegation to RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) health care team, you will participate in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the employed state.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate clinically competent care for assigned patients.
• Coordinate with direct patient care staff and participate in decision-making and quality improvement.
• Administer medications per physician orders or approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
• Provide education to patients and families and assist with transplant/treatment education.
• Direct daily hemodialysis therapy delivery and ensure safe patient care.
