Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis team in providing high-quality care for patients with end-stage renal disease.

This on-site role operates four 10-hour shifts starting at 4am, with Sundays off and no overnight work. The position offers paid 12-week training, competitive benefits including medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, PTO/holidays, and a retirement plan with employer matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills desired.
• DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom sessions and hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
• Record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and inform charge nurse of concerns.
• Maintain patient privacy and rights; manage inventory; perform laboratory work.
