Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. seeks a Patient Care Technician / Certified Dialysis Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis treatment process in a full-time role with four 10-hour shifts starting at 4:30am, Sundays off.

The position offers paid training, comprehensive benefits, and a mission-driven environment dedicated to high-quality kidney care. Ideal candidates bring excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn through DCI’s 12-week training program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
