Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support our team in delivering high‑quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease.

The PCT assists clinical staff throughout the dialysis treatment process and participates in infection control, patient education, and routine charting under RN supervision. This full-time role offers four 10-hour shifts starting at 5:30am, Sundays off, no overnight shifts, and paid training with comprehensive benefits, including medical,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize work load accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
