Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. seeks a Patient Care Technician to join a cross-functional team delivering dialysis care under RN or Charge Nurse supervision. You will support patient care, monitor treatments, and ensure high-quality dialysis delivery.

You will perform machine preparation, cleaning, safety checks, and logging to maintain quality control, while adhering to company policies and state/federal regulations. Training and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients in need.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Successful completion of USRC training program within 8 weeks of hire.
• Successful completion of USRC training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis within 8 weeks of hire.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by the state.
• PCT certification must be obtained through a state certification program or national certification program within 18 months of hire date.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Comfortable with mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment and collect patient stats before and after treatment.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean and disinfect, perform safety checks and log results.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and participate in meetings and continuing education.
