Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a cross-functional dialysis team providing care and delegated treatments under RN or Charge Nurse supervision.

You will assist with safe, high-quality dialysis, prepare machines, perform safety checks, and uphold all safety and regulatory policies while participating in ongoing education and team meetings. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma, desire to work in healthcare, and be willing to obtain required

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during dialysis, including gathering stats and initiating/terminating treatment.
• Prepare and disinfect dialysis machines, conduct safety checks and log results.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company/state regulations; participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
