Job summary

US Renal Care in Hawaii is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a cross-functional team and support dialysis treatments under RN or CN supervision. You will be directly involved with patients, ensuring safe, comfortable care and accurate data collection during procedures.

You will also prepare dialysis machines, conduct safety checks, and adhere to all policies and regulations, with opportunities for continuing education and professional certification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment and collect patient stats before and after treatment.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, monitor patients, and perform machine safety checks.
• Maintain safety measures and follow company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Attend required staff meetings and continuing education.
